Five Facts about Software Licensing

1)Free software is software that can be accessed by anyone, copied by anyone and distributed by anyone.

2)Each computer has its own software licensing

3)Proprietary software is software that has a heavy amount of restrictions, which usually means its closed source, there's also limitations on the use of the product

4)The End User License Agreement, is often integrated into a software product and determines the legal binding of the software, for small software companies its a good idea to check the EULA as they possess elements that are unwanted by the user

5) A term license in a license that expires after a specific period of time and must be renewed once the period expires. Often times these elements consist of software memberships or anti-virus software.
