Congratulations to our volleyball team and football team for advancing to the Albemarle Conference championship finals. Our Cub volleyball team will play Perquimans at River Road Middle School and our Cub Football team will play River Road at Northeastern High School at Northeastern High School. Let’s go Cubs!

Leadership Summit

Shout out to CMS Junior Beta Club Officers who participated in a Beta Leadership Summit held in Williamsburg, VA on November 1st-2nd. The officers are Skylar Parks-President, Rylee Anderson- Vice President, and Alexis McCoy-Secretary. Students heard from two speakers about leadership and making positive change in their school and community. Camden Middle School was recognized by National Beta as an Outstanding Leadership School for 2018-2019.

Lady Bruins Volleyball!

Shout out to the CCHS Varsity Volleyball team! The Lady Bruins made it to the 3rd round of the state playoffs! They finished their season 12-3 in their conference and 20-6 overall!

Halloween Math!

Shout out to Mrs. Ramsey for making math fun when her Honors Math II students constructed geometric 3-D masks.

Shout out to Mrs. Broyles and Mrs. Heath for leading professional development on Canvas!

The Science of Trash

Shout out to the CCHS AP Environmental Science class for touring the Pasquotank County Landfill on Thursday, November 1. Brad Gardner, the Solid Waste Director, facilitated the tour and provided insight into local waster management practices and explained that there truly is no such thing as throwing things "away."
