Dear Families,
It is hard to believe that this is the last week of September and October is upon us. Students are settling into their routines and making new friends. It has been wonderful to join students in the playground and lunch where they are back together as a grade. Students talking and playing with new and old friends is such a joy to see.
If you have any needs for school supplies or backpacks, please contact Sandra Corrente by calling the main office. We have many wonderful donations to help students.
Below you will find important information about events and fundraisers coming up. Please make sure to scroll to the end to see upcoming dates you will want to have on your calendar. Enjoy the long weekend as there is no school Monday.

Lease Updates
Every year, we are required by GPS and CT state law to update our records for residency materials that have expired. We have started the process in gathering updated information from families. If you have a new lease since the expiry of the lease we have on file, you can proactively send us a copy to accelerate the process. Your patience is appreciated as we have a long list of families that do rent and it may take several weeks to contact families.
Additionally, the documents required with instructions for all types of residency are available on the Greenwich Public Schools District web site at www.greenwichschools.org /residency Link to
Residency.
If your address has changed, you need to complete a full residency verification package;
completing steps one through four on the Residency Verification Checklist.
If you have any questions, please call your the main office or The Residency Office at 203-625-7416 between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

Filling in the Blanks (“FITB”) is a local nonprofit agency, located in Norwalk, CT that provides food on the weekends to school aged children. We are teaming up with the staff and teachers of New Lebanon School to offer a supply of nutritious meals and snacks to your child over the weekends and extended breaks, FREE OF CHARGE. The goal of the Filling in the Blanks Program is to help children thrive in school by offering additional nutrition on the weekends.

· 4 snacks (Goldfish, fruit cup, apple sauce, granola bar)
· 2 individual sized cartons on shelf stable milk

Bags are distributed by your child’s teacher on the last school day before the weekend or break. Any child enrolled at New Lebanon is able to receive these weekly bags of food.
If you believe your child could benefit from this program, we encourage you to sign them up by Registering online. New Lebanon's Link Please register each child separately enrolled at New Lebanon School to receive their own weekend meal bag.
