From the Principal:

It's almost time for our first round of progress reports to go home! Progress Reports will be sent home next Thursday, September 21, with your child's Thursday Exchange. Please review your child's report, sign it, and return it to your child's teacher by Tuesday, September 26.

Fall Leadership Breakfast

Join Life School district leaders on Thursday, September 21st at 8:20 a.m. for the Leadership Breakfast and hear about updates and plans. The meeting will be short so parents can visit one-on-one with school leadership.

From Our Nurse:

Parents, please send back your food allergy action plans from your student's doctor, along with medication to ensure a healthy and safe school year. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the nurse's office.

Behavioral Rubric for Progress/Report Cards


Kinder-2nd Grade:

There are 5 criteria for Social and Emotional Development on the Specials Grade report card. They are as follows:

I can follow directions.

I can work independently, complete work, and stay on task.

I can take responsibility for my own actions.

I can participate appropriately in group activities.

I can respect adults, peers, and school property.


The criteria will be graded based on class participation and behavior. The grading rubric for the Social and Emotional Development section is as follows:

E – Exceeds Expectations

S - Satisfactory

N – Needs Improvement


3rd-6th Grade:

The final grade will be based on the following rubric:


E = 0 Warnings or Tallies

S = 1 - 3 Warnings

N = 1 + Tallies or 4 +Warnings

Uniform Exchange & Resale

October 3rd starting at 5:00 pm, we will be having our Uniform Resale and Exchange. Remember that you can exchange up to 6 items and all items are $1 each. If you would to donate any gently used school uniforms you may do so in the front office.
