We understand that this is a time of great uncertainty for college and career planning. Many colleges are changing not only their admission requirements but how they work with prospective students. Colleges across the nation are also becoming ‘test optional’ and ‘test blind or test free’. Test optional means students have the choice of if they wish to submit a test score and would not be penalized if they do not. Test blind or test free means those colleges will not review any test score as part of their admission or scholarship process. Some have been this way for years and others are making this change in light of circumstances and the pandemic. To see the full list of colleges that are test-optional, please visit: https://fairtest.org/university/optional . As always it is a family choice as to whether their student wishes to take the PreACT or ACT.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact Jena Hitt, Laura Horton, or Suze Fulford.
