AHS Referendum Informational Meeting


On Tuesday, March 21st at 6:00PM in the Merton Intermediate School Little Theater, Arrowhead superintendent Laura Myrah will be hosting a presentation and question/answer session for our community regarding their upcoming spring referendum. This meeting will occur immediately before the School Board Candidate Forum which will begin at 7:00PM.

BeeBots Alive at the Board Meeting

Our STEM first graders, using BeeBots to demonstrate how they could practice telling time, made a presentation to our school board this past Monday. Ms. Bakkum and her children dazzled the members with little machines as they moved around the boards searching for the correct times-to the quarter hour.

Merton School Board Candidate Forum


The PTO and School District would like to invite you to a School Board Candidate Forum on Tuesday, March 21st at 7:30PM in the Merton Intermediate School Little Theater. This April, there are two seats up for re-election. We have three candidates who will be on the ballot; Phil Spindler, Kris Pfieffer, and Kaysie Kurszewski. Please join the candidates and our community on March 21st for this candidate forum.

Dr. Suess' Birthday

There were plenty of books to choose from, but Mr. B picked out Green Eggs and Ham, Oh the places you'll go, and My Many Colored Days. It was a fun 20 minutes with a number of classrooms who listened to Mr. B get excited about Dr. Suess' writing.

The first Wednesday of every month, our PTO has a meeting at 2:30 at the Primary School. Parents, teachers, and principals attend and we talk about the great ways our PTO supports our students, our staff, our schools and our district. Here are the notes from this month's meetings. We had some fun with Dr. Suess books on Thursday, his birthday. With the help of some make-up whiskers, Mr. B visited classrooms for some fun reading and learning about the good Dr. Hope you crack open some of these terrific books over the weekend.
