Mathematical Concept : Measurement.
We learned about MEASUREMENT and how we can measure all sorts of things from quantity, to weight, to height and even value!
We read a book to learn about money, and how many 10, 20 and 50c coins would be needed to make up a dollar.
Dental Hygiene
We spent a brief week also discussing the topic of dental hygiene. This allowed us opportunity to remember the things we've previously learned about looking after our teeth. We remembered that we need to brush our teeth twice per day, and for two minutes. We also practiced the technique of brushing our teeth properly and remembered to pay regular visits to the dentist!
Outer Space
This topic covered a wide variety of topics such as the sun, moon, stars and planets and even touched on satellites and telecommunication, and how satellites and satellite dishes allow us to communicate with our friends and families in different countries. We even read a story about the historical account of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin being the first people to land on the moon!
