Fruit and Kringle

Our annual Fruit and Kringle sale is in full swing!

The sale runs November 13- November 27.

100% of profit will be deposited into Students' Tosa East Band accounts that can be used for future band trips, solo and ensemble fees, band fees, and other field trips.

Be sure to collect money with your order.

No Money = No Order

You must come pick up your fruit and kringle, it will not be stored in a temperature controlled environment overnight.

Please pull up to the Milwaukee Ave. Band room door labeled S16. Put your flashers on and come on inside to check in, then our volunteers will bring your items outside and load them right in to your car!

December Concert- December 20th, 2017

Concert Attire

Our Winter Concert will be on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 at 7:00pm in the Dale K. Hidde Theatre. Concert attire is all black. Please note if your student is a Freshmen, high school attire is different than middle school.

Plan ahead to make sure your student is wearing ALL black. Also, be sure to encourage your student to plan ahead should they need to use their marching shoes as footwear.

Ladies: Black pants, black pants, black skirt, black nylons/tights, black 3/4 shirt or long sleeve shirt. Ladies, you must wear a cardigan if you are wearing a tank top, short sleeves or sleeveless dress. Please also remember that you will be up onstage and the audience will be looking up at you, be aware of your outfit.
No patterned shirts or tank tops.

Gentlemen: Black Pants, black socks, black shoes, black long sleeve dress shirt.
No short sleeve shirts, striped shirts or colored ties!

Students can bring festive attire for our combined finale performance of Sleigh Ride.

Winter Concert Playing Assessment

Due December 1st

Will not accept after December 15th, 2017

Submitting by the December 1st deadline gives you the opportunity to re-take the assessment prior to December 15th if you wish to better your grade.

No re-takes will be offered to students that submit after December 1st.

Students- Don't forget!

Practice your music and record the final performance. Feel free to re-record as many times as you like until you are satisfied with your performance. Submit a recording by the dates listed below for each assignment

Recording requirements-

  • Submit recording by the date listed above

  • Record the excerpts as many times as you like until you are happy with your performance.

  • Recordings can only be submitted using GOOGLE DRIVE.

  • Perform at performance tempi listed for each piece (metronome usage is highly encouraged)

  • Before each excerpt, state your name and the portion of the assignment you will be submitting

  • Finally, be sure to listen to your recording to ensure you are happy with the performance and that you remembered to begin with your name, and the assignment.

Jazz I

Jazz I Lunch Concerts- December 21st

We will be performing during both lunch hours, starting at 11:50am and 12:45pm

Just a reminder that there is no morning rehearsal on December 8th

All Jazz I students are required to attend the Ron Carter Clinic. Please make sure it is on your calendar.

Both groups rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00am.

Please make sure if you are not going to present that you are communicating attendance with Mr. Krubsack and Mrs. Lato.
