Shuttle Buses Departure from Correctionville to Washta
Approximately 7:50am (Due to HWY 31 closure classes will start a little later at the elementary)
Students are encouraged to arrive to school between 7:45 and 8:00 to avoid large gatherings
Parents are asked to stay in their vehicle during drop off and pick up.

Kindergarten's First Day
Meal Services
- Elementary Breakfast Service Plan
- Students will sanitize their hands before entering the line.
- Students will wear masks while waiting in line.
- Students will be spaced 6' apart while in line and when at tables for eating, unless seated with family members.
- Family members will be required to sit together when eating breakfast to ensure proper social distancing and seating for others.
- All food items will be served from the window.
- Students will sanitize their hands before exiting the cafeteria.
- Elementary Lunch Service Plan
- Lunch will be served in three lunch shifts (K-1, 2-3, 4-5)
- Staff will ensure students engage in proper handwashing prior to entering the lunch room and waiting in line.
- Students will wear masks on route to the lunch room and while waiting in the lunch line. Masks may be removed once seated and ready to eat.
- To maintain social distancing, only one grade level per lunch shift will eat in the cafeteria while the the other classes will eat in their rooms. Students will sit 6' apart while in the lunch room with seating marked on benches.
- 6' of social distance will be maintained while in line; distances will be marked on the floor.
- Salad bar offerings will be limited and served from the window.
- JH/HS Breakfast Service Plan
- Students will sanitize their hands before entering the line for breakfast.
- Students will wear masks until seated to begin breakfast.
- Students will maintain proper distancing while in line.
- Students will sanitize their hands upon completion of their food.
- JH/HS Lunch Service Plan
- Lunch will be served in 3 Shifts
- Students will sanitize their hands upon entering the kitchen
- Students will wear masks until seated to begin lunch.
- Students will maintain proper distancing while in line.
- Students will sanitize their hands upon completion of their meal.
Protecting Staff and Students
Monitor Your Children Daily
- Temperature 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher when taken by mouth
- Sore Throat
- New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing (for students with chronic allergic/ asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline)
- Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain
- New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever
- Loss of smell or taste senses
Face Coverings
- Face Coverings (nose and mouth) are required to be worn in buildings by students and staff when physical distancing is not possible. This will include entering and exiting the building, while boarding and riding buses, in hallways, lunch lines and other times as necessary
- Students are encouraged to wear their own mask to school. The school will provide a washed mask daily. Students may use their own as needed. We also have face shields upon request.
- Accommodations will be made for students with legitimate needs
- Face Shields will be provided to staff
Transportation
- Students will wear masks when they ride a bus
- Students will have assigned seats on the bus
- Hand sanitizer will be on the buses for them as they enter and exit the bus
- We will have regular town stops as we have in the past
Parents are encouraged to transport students to school if they are able.
Trainings

- Virtual learning - in case we have to go to hybrid plan
Visitors
- Access to our buildings will be restricted
- When students need to be released early the parents will call the school upon arrival and the student will be released
Band and Vocal
Water Bottles
- The drinking fountains will not be available to students or staff but we will have our bottle fill stations up and going
- Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle

Cleaning and Disinfecting
The school purchased electrostatic sprayers to help sanitize high touch surfaces in buildings and buses.
