Program Exploration Night Tickets
Join us for this year's Exploration night! Parents and students are invited to explore course opportunities offered through CTE. This is a come-and-go event where attendees will be able to focus on the programs of their choice. Teachers and students from every high school campus will be available to answer questions and show off what their campuses have to offer in CTE. Industry experts will also be onsite to share career opportunities and to answer questions about your desired industry path.

Summer Program for High School Seniors - UT MD Anderson School of Health Professions
The School of Health Professions at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center would like to announce that applications open soon for the 60th Annual Carl B. & Florence E. King Foundation High School Summer Program in Biomedical Sciences June 8 – July 24, 2020. Applications available Nov. 1, 2019 – Jan. 16, 2020.
Attached is our informational flyer for potential applicants to the program (current seniors in a Texas public, private, charter, or home school graduating prior to the start of the program). For more information visit our web page (http://bit.ly/SHP-HS-Summer) or contact me directly. In short, we will select 10 students and pair each to mentor under an MD Anderson faculty member. The participants will work during normal business hours in their mentor’s laboratory working on research.
Students will receive a scholarship to help defray expenses during the program. The program does not provide for housing, parking, transportation, food, or otherwise.
No new applications will be taken after January 16. We hope to choose the students by early March.
