The event is an all-day celebration of academia and some of your fellow Honorables will be presenting their research work. Honors alumnus Haseeb Goheer works as an Analyst for Modus Health Group, a healthcare data and predictive analytics firm that provides comprehensive healthcare market demand forecasts to investment firms, venture capitalists, hospitals, biotech companies, and many other professionals within the healthcare space. Using patient-level data, Modus Health Group identifies at-risk populations and maps patient journeys from diagnosis to treatment. This provides valuable insights to top healthcare organizations for benchmarking treatment costs and improving patient care.
(Note: Modus Health Group is actively hiring exceptional students with a variety of academic backgrounds from colleges, so bring your resumes!!)

The Student Success Center is officially HIRING for the Fall 2019 semester!
Do you have a passion for helping your fellow classmates? Are you looking for more experience working within an academic support setting? Interested in collaborating with supportive staff and students in an effort to assist others?
...then look no further! The Student Success Center (or, simply the ‘SSC’) is a comprehensive academic support center here at Temple University. We serve both undergraduate and graduate students and offer such programming as tutoring, workshops, retreats, colloquia, and more. We are looking to expand our team for the Fall 2019 semester, and we welcome you to apply!
To be considered for a position on our team, please visit the job pages on our website to view the full job descriptions and find the proper contact emails to submit the necessary application materials. All positions earn $12/hr. The links for each position are as follows:
You are encouraged to apply to all the positions you are interested in! Though we typically only hire students for one role their first semester, many student workers at the SSC expand to other programs in later semesters. Those interested in applying for multiple positions must submit a separate application for each position. A brief description of each position is included at the bottom of this call, and more information can be found on our website here.
The application deadline for these positions is Wednesday, April 17th.

Religion in the Media
Monday, April 8, 6:15- 8:30 PM
MBA Commons, Alter Hall
Media permeates society. It has become a constant presence in our lives and shapes public discourse including the ways we talk about and understand religion. At this event, conversationalists from a variety of faith communities and who work within different spheres of the media will discuss the role and responsibility of the media as a primary source of religious literacy in the United States. Attendees, working in small groups, will explore their own responses to reports on religion in news and entertainment media. This event is supported in part, by Temple's Department of Communication and Social Influence, and will be moderated by Rabbi Dr. Rebecca Alpert, Senior Associate Dean, Temple University College of Liberal Arts.

Come learn about the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) Summer International Health Fellowship programs! Located in a variety of countries (Dominican Republic, India, Costa Rica and many more), FIMRC's summer programs connect aspiring undergraduates in health professional fields to medically underserved communities abroad, providing daily clinical experiences and community outreach.
