Photo of the Week

Mr. Wright has used money earned from "Art to Remember" to purchase additional art supplies. One project he has been able to bring to the art room as a result of those additional funds is screen printing! Fifth graders explored this technique this week!

Shelter in Place/Tornado Drill

Scheduling a time for the tornado drill has been difficult with PARCC Testing. At this point, I would like each classroom teacher to conduct an individual run through of the drill expectations. At a time that is convenient for you, please review procedures and shelter locations with your students. Ensure that students know where to go and how to sit during the event of a storm. We conducted the official drill in the fall, but with storm season in progress, it is important to review this with our students.

Progress Reports

Progress Reports go home next Friday. Please remember the value in communicating positively and proactively with families regarding student progress. Thank you for the time you take to communicate with parents!

Staffing Update

Nicole Stuff has made the decision to resign and stay home with her family next year. She has done a fabulous job as our Special Education Teacher and will be missed! Wish her luck on this new adventure!
