Mission Statement:

West Alexander Middle School will create a community of lifelong learners by encouraging students to learn, achieve and reach success.

Dear Families,

Where has this school year gone?! I can't believe that we only have 15 school days remaining! As the school year is winding down, it is very important that you continue to encourage your child to work hard each and every day. With EOG's right around the corner, it is imperative that your child is on campus for each of their face to face days, and spends 3-4 hours each remote day on their Canvas assignments. There will be lots of time set aside for celebrations and to reminisce on this whirlwind of a year, until then, we must finish strong!

Many of you may have noticed that we have a new smiling face in the car rider line. Her name is Meredith Ferguson, and she is our new school nurse. We are very excited that she has joined our staff! We are also excited to announce that Nurse Ferguson will be at West full-time! Please make her feel welcome and join us in celebrating her as Wednesday, May 12th is School Nurse Appreciation Day! Nurse Jones, who moved to ACHS, and Nurse Ferguson, ensure that our students are in good health and are physically prepared to be their best in class.

Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to partnering with you as we finish this school year on a high note!
