Principal's Message

Monday marks the beginning of the best year ever! The best day ever should never be considered a one day event. The best day ever should be a copulation of single great days everyday for our students. Everyday students should go home with the feeling that they engaged in new exciting learning opportunities. After all, we are preparing them to become positive leaders in an ever-changing world. When you think about what that would entail then you realize that if we are to truly prepare them to become the leaders of the future than we need to step up our game so that they can lead not only our cities and state but our country as well. What defines a great leader. What knowledge, characteristics and abilities do you want for your future leaders. The answer lies in the quality of teaching that we prepare for our students. Let's make Monday the start of something greater, THE BEST YEAR EVER!

ACP blueprints

ACP blueprints can be found on Curriculum Central. Click on Assessment>ACP Blueprint. This should be one of the first places you check when planning your lesson plans since it is important to know which SEs for each content area will be tested. This should help you prioritize the amount of time you spend on a specific skill.

Dismissal Information

Starting on Monday Prekinder/Kinder will dismiss from their regular assigned locations. Prekinder from the front of the building and Kinder from the driveway that leads to the backdoor of the parking lot.

Pomona Rd is considered only a drop off or pick up lane during the school hours of 7:30-8:00 and 2:45-3:15. No parking is allowed on Pomona during these times. Please do not stop and talk to parents while they are in their cars during these times as it creates a traffic jam for everyone else. It is important that you are aware of who is picking up your students at all times and therefore a popsicle method of dismissal or one like it is necessary. Train your students to let you know when they are leaving and check that you recognize the person in the car. If you do not, check the parent permission slips that have been shared with you. If you do not have them, Ms. Barrera can make you a copy.

4B: Excellence -Outstanding quality; superiority and something in which one excels .
