Physical Mental Causes of Stress.
Stress is the cause of a harmful situation whether it is real or it is perceived. Stress can my physically caused by your surroundings. For example if you are having trouble at home or at work. For example you may have stress from home from conflicts with your wife or kids. In your work situation you may have a lot of stress from the fear of getting fired or not meeting your quota.
Harry S. Truman
He was the 33rd president of the united states. He had a lot of stress in his career because of the two wars he was in. He had to figure out how to end the war in WWII without dragging out the war, and decided to drop the atomic bonb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Then after that he had to go against the USSR in the Cold War. He successfully developed the Truman Doctrine which helped him end the war and the spread of communism.
How to deal with Stress
You can deal with stress by surrounding yourself in more positive situations. You can also change your mindsets, like for example instead of telling yourself the glass is half empty you can tell yourself it is half full. Another way to deal with stress is to set up a reward system or a goal set in order to keep your life on track. The MayoClinic stated "Your personality, experiences and other unique characteristics all influence the way you respond to and cope with stress. Situations and events that are distressing for your colleagues might not bother you in the least — or you might be particularly sensitive to certain stressors that don't seem to faze other people." This means you should find your stress triggers and try to eliminate or ease them. For me this would be playing on X-Box Live (even though trolls seem to be one of my stress triggers), reading, watching movies, ect.
