Dear Families,


Please join us next week for Abilities Week! Each day a different grade(s) is invited into for period 2. Please sign in with identification at the main desk beginning at 8:30 am. You will visit your child's classroom at 8:55 am


We have a raccoon, yes a raccoon, on our 2nd floor playground. The extermination company is coming on Monday. It has impacted recess for some classes this week. I apologize for this, however, it has made it's home very snugly in near our garden. I'm hopeful that this will be resolved next week.

Ice cream is back! We will be selling ice cream to students for $2.00 each on Fridays. There is an assortment of non-dairy and dairy options.

  • Friday, November 17, 2023 (Day 49) -Communication (Wear your Abilities Week Tee-Shirts or black). 8:30 am Grade 5 Spelling Bee! Auditorium. Period 2 Parent Visits: Grade 1. PTA Bake Sale lunch periods.

Parent-Teacher Conferences - New Date - Wednesday, December 6, 2023 1/2 Day Early Dismissal

Half Day Schedule 23-24 for Parent-Teacher Conferences

Dismissal is in the usual place, Pre-K to Grade 2 - 83 Street and Grades 3, 4 and 5 - 82 Street.


Pre-K dismissal: 11:00 am


K-5 dismissal:

Kindergarten and Grade 3 - 11:05 am

First Grade and Grade 4 - 11:10 am

Second Grade and Grade 5 - 11:15 am


Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences via Zoom:

12:20 pm – 2:20 pm and 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Teachers will be reaching out to you soon to schedule an appointment.
