How does Spice affect the brain?

Spice users report feeling relaxed and having mild changes in perception. Some users have also reported extreme anxiety, feeling like someone is out to get them or paranoia and seeing/ hearing things that aren't really there.

People have reported symptoms like fast heart rate , throwing up, feeling nervous, feeling confused, and having hallucinations.

You can die from spice, there has been a rising number of emergency department visits.

How Many Teens Use Spice?

3.10 percent of 8th graders, 4.30 percent of 10th grade graders, and 5.20 percent of 12th graders use Spice. Every year, the amount of this drug use is increasing.
