Quoi de neuf à EPK?
Semaine du 28 octobre au 1er novembre, 2019
Fall book fair
There is SNOW much to read! A BLIZZARD of books is arriving and everyone is invited. Bundle up for an Arctic Adventure and a Family Event as big as an iceberg! If you bring your family to the Book Fair you’ll have the chance to win FREE BOOKS ($25 worth of books).
It’s the coolest place to be! Come view the latest and greatest in children’s books. With Christmas just around the corner, come on in and see what is new and cool.
Did you know that for every $10 spent at the Book Fair, up to $6 in product comes directly back to our school library? This is the only fundraising that the library does. Come in and you can have a chance to enter our Family Event Draw to win
I look forward to seeing you and thank you in advance for supporting this very important fundraiser. Mostly, thank you for believing in books and the importance of reading in your child’s future.
Mme Heather Corbin

Friday: All Saints Day
Saturday November 2 : Catholic Education Mass at 5 PM hosted by EPK and OLPH School

A message from the principal
A second month of school is already ending! A lot of learning has been taking place and both students and staff have shown exceptional resilience through the changes brought on by the modernization, but things are moving along quite nicely. I will make sure to send you some pictures soon. I am so proud of all our students and staff for making the most of our situation!
All our classes have been very active with regular physical education classes. Student have engaged in many cooperative games, loose parts play and fitness exercices on Fitness Fridays and through all this, I am happy to report that we have noticed more positive play during recesses and much fewer disagreements. The new park has also been very popular with all the children. They absolutely love it!
We had a beautiful French Immersion Mass last Thursday with OLPH and ABJ Schools. Congratulations to our wonderful Choir and special thanks to Mme Tétreault and Mr. Holden for preparing our students for this mass. Thank you to all of you parents who were able to join us.
I also wanted to thank our parents for taking the time to answer our Catholic School Improvement Survey. Your input is important and helps us improve as a school community.
Finally, please remember to sign up for our 3 Way Conferences which will take place at the school on the evenings of November 6 and 7.
Have a wonderful week and God Bless,
Mme Lafrance
