Because of all of the major incidents and all of the deaths and problems it has caused, the government is trying to get rid of drunk driving.
why is it so bad?
Drunk driving has been a problem since the 1970's. This issue has been affecting peoples lives and hurting many people. One of the biggest affects of drunk driving is death and major injuries. On average two out of three people will be involved in a drunk driving crash in their life time. Every day day in America 27 people die as a result of drunk driving crashes.
Some people might say "oh i'll be fine driving home. Its just a few miles down." But they don't realize what crisis they are going to get in until the get into a major crash and effect many lives. If people know that they are going to drink, then they should plan ahead and avoid the wrong situation.
