Old Crayons
By: Riley Nally
Watch out TCE, Mrs. Losh is bringing some love to this school with broken crayons. What Mrs. Losh is going to do is collect LOTS of broken crayons. Then she will melt the crayons and make them into shapes. She is going to make them for all of TCE. They are going out to the whole school to have fun with!-------------------------------------
Recess and Cold Weather
Every time we go out for recess in the winter make sure you bring a coat or long sleeves because it is really cold outside. Here are some suggestions for school at recess. 1. A heavy coat. 2. Warm pants. 3. Winter boots. 4. Fuzzy socks. 5.soft gloves.
By Abbey and Amelia
At recess if the weather is 25 or lower or if it is raining we will not go outside to play. Otherwise, we will go out! The things we will need if we go outside are a coat, maybe boots, a hat and gloves. OUR HANDS GET REALLY COLD!! If it’s not cold, we can just leave the things in the our locker. I would also suggest to wear long sleeves and pants. If you forget stuff often, maybe you could leave an extra set of stuff in your locker. If it is spiting snow then we still go out. In the winter it snows so you might want to bring gloves. If you go to early release you might want to pack warmer stuff because you will be out there for 10 minutes longer. Thorpe Creek Cardinals should show respect on the playground. And that is our report on the playground.

You might want to wear warm clothes to school, I do! It is getting cold out so wear long sleeve coats, jackets and gloves are a great idea for recess.
This isn't just for kids here at school, you at home may want to start dressing warm too. If you don't wear and bring warm clothes for recess, you could be really really cold .

Library
By: Ava and Bella
In the morning, Mrs. Hopper is always is there to help! When you’re with a class you always go to the carpet and Miss Hopper will read a book to us. Mrs. Hopper has also started doing STEM projects with the classes and that makes library more interesting. After she reads, you get to look for a book. When you find the perfect book for you, you can check it in from the computer. Then we read, it’s so much fun! If you have no books at home you can get three book form the library. If you have one book at home then you can get two but if you have two at home you can only get one. If you need Mrs. Hopper will even save a book for you!

A Note from the Car Rider Crew
Dear MORNING CAR RIDER FAMILIES,
Thank you for working with us each morning to follow our unloading procedures in the interest of safety and efficiency as students arrive to school.
We are asking for your help to continue to:
- Have your child seated on the passenger side of the car.
- Teach them to gather their belongings and independently step out of the car onto the sidewalk. (we will be available to lend an extra hand, if needed).
- Once your vehicle is stopped along the sidewalk within the green cones, allow your child to exit the vehicle.
- ***We ask that regardless of where you are stopped within the green cones, (toward the front, middle or back of the line), you allow your child to exit when the adults give the signal to do so.
We greatly appreciate your help and consideration!
THANK YOU!
The TCE Car Rider Line Crew

Lost and Found
Also known as the Losh and Found, this is TCE’s lost and found! Please ask your child/children to check the lost and found because, you never know if you have lost something until you check! You might have heard we have a teacher who is the ultimate lost and found keeper. Mrs.Losh has folded and kept track of your belongings so consider saying thank you to Mrs.Losh. Please check with your child/children to see if they have lost anything. Thank you for joining us all along the way!
By Eshal and Harper
Hi we are writing about the lost and found. We would like our TCE students to go to the lost and found and if you lost something please go to the lost and found there are lots of clothes piling up. There is so much some are now starting to get placed on the floor and no one wants their clothes on the floor. We also want you guys to find your clothes and anything else that you have lost because nobody likes having lost things.

For movie night we went into the gym and the lights were off and kids could wear pj’s if they wanted to. There was popcorn 🍿 and kids even brought stuffed animals 🐼. This is only open to kids from TCE.
