What's Peach Jar?
Mankato Area Public Schools is getting ready to launch a new electronic flyer communication tool called “Peachjar.” To view school-approved digital flyers, simply click the Peachjar button on your school’s website homepage which will be located under “Family Information.” (see picture to the right)
This “green” initiative will save our schools paper and reduce copy costs. On top of that, posting school flyers in this electronic backpack removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers. Families will have the capability to view flyers at anytime simply by clicking on the link on the webpage.
As part of a soft launch, Community Education & Recreation will be adding flyers to the account for each building AND students will continue to take home paper flyers of other activities. Beginning in the 2018-19 school year, all flyers will be posted in digital format and families will receive an email notification when a flyer is distributed. Thank you for supporting our efforts to ensure families are well informed about school programs, activities, and events.
