Sugar Rush

The Sugar Crash
Sugar is what makes pretty much all candy. And I’m sure you all know that. I’m also sure that most of you know that sugar makes us hyper. But what I’m not sure you know is that sugar, after a while, makes you exhausted. This is called the sugar crash.
The Experiment
In order to find out how sugar affects us, I’m using my two siblings, Mallory and Dane. In order to make them have a sugar crash, I need to give them at least 23 grams of sugar. I need them to run a distance of ? feet and ? inches. The first time they run I have to make sure they haven’t had any sugar for an hour, of else it will ruin my experiment. They will each run 3 times without sugar, 3 times 20 minutes after they had sugar (so that the sugar can set in), and then 40 minutes after they had the sugar (so the sugar can make them crash).
The First Run
For their first three run times, Mallory got 5 seconds, 4.70 seconds, and 4 seconds. Dane’s times were 5.40 seconds, 5.60 seconds, and 6 seconds. These times are reasonably close. Let’s see the difference once they’ve had sugar.
