A Word from Our Principal
It is hard to believe that we have begun the last nine weeks of school. TELPAS testing was
just completed and now we are moving on to the next group of assessments. We continue to
focus on providing a quality education for your child and ensure our third, fourth, and fifth graders are prepared to master the State of Texas Assessments of Academic
Readiness (STAAR). Because of this, we are using every possible moment for instruction.
Our 4th & 5th graders will kick off annual STAAR testing the week of April 8th. Due to the importance of these test for security reasons, our campus will be closed to visitors during this week. Although most students will be done testing within the four-hour time limit, we do have some students who will be testing throughout the day and utilizing multiple classrooms and campus spaces. Additionally, we will be administering make-up tests to students who were not in attendance on scheduled testing days.
*Parents or visitors will not be allowed to eat lunch with their children or visit classrooms.*

Classroom Request Deadline/Guidelines
Parents, this is just a reminder that we cannot do specific teacher requests for the upcoming school-year. We do however take teacher attribute requests or requests regarding any other special circumstances. All requests must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for these requests is April 25th.
You will soon be able to order a kit with all the supplies that your student needs for the following school year. Your teacher will be forwarding you a link as soon as it becomes available.
Avoid long lines and the chance of not being able to find that one last school supply item by ordering a kit online! They will be delivered to your child's classroom in time for Meet the Teacher Night.
