'Tis the Season...
for scurrying and flurrying to get things done - at school and at home! We had such a great time making Gingerbread Houses on Wednesday. I love how they digitally shared on Seesaw. (If you don't have it yet, please consider signing up!) Thanks for your comments back, too - your child enjoys reading those. A big "Thanks" to the moms who came and assisted (Emily, Samantha, Jodi and Heather) - much appreciated!
Upcoming...
Monday the 21st - meet in the classroom at 3:30 to take food donations (THANK YOU!!) to the Food Shelf, followed by ice cream for the kiddos at BK.
Tuesday the 22nd - Our mall will be open for 2nd grade shopping at "Stores"! I'd like a parent or two to help out. Please send me a message if you'd like to come - we'll be selling & shopping from 12:40 - 2:30.
Wednesday the 23rd - Pajama Day (don't forget shoes for PE) & Holiday Party. The party starts at 8:40 a.m. and goes until 10:00. Everyone is welcome to join us!
Homework
Homework coming home today [with hopes that it gives you a few minutes to wrap gifts while your child works and/or leverage to use "because Santa's watching" :) ]
RAH - sorry, but this needs to be due Monday, so we can test on our only "normal" day of the short week.
