Class Placements Requests

Class placements for the upcoming year are such an exciting time! At Grant, we do not take teacher requests but we do work extremely hard to make sure each student is in the very best place for his/her learning. We take into account academic levels, social interactions, learning styles, friendships, and any and all other information we can gather to make the best classes possible. We strive to make balanced classrooms full of students who love learning! Moreover, we have not settled on who will be teaching what classes next year. If you have any extenuating circumstances that may require further assistance, please email Mrs. Todd at and she will assist you.

Sending Best Retirement Wishes to Ms. Megna

After 34 years teaching, 20 of them at Grant, our magnificent Ms. Megna is off to new adventures. We celebrate her amazing work at Grant and wish her the very best. Ms. Megna's first project will be working as a concept and curriculum developer for a project in China for "retail edutainment" center. She'll also help rebuild her family's property in Calistoga that burned in the fires. Ms. Megna has been a passionate organizer and advocate of the Grant Garden project and she invites you to come celebrate by volunteering for a Grant Garden workday, Sunday, 4/15 and Earth Day, Sunday 4/22 from 10am-3pm. In her words," I will savor these last 8 weeks of working with my beloved students, fantastically supportive parents and inspirational staff. You are all immeasurable blessings to me. Long live Grant's legacy - where children are a promise for a better future. Rock on Shamrocks!"

Thank you PTA!!

Our amazing PTA has been restocking the emergency buckets in the classrooms. Each of our classrooms has water, snacks, first aid items and a bathroom bucket in case of emergency. Each year, these are refreshed. Thank you volunteers for your work!

Lucky Strike Bowling Rescheduled

Thanks to an untimely power outage, our bowling event is rescheduled for Sunday, April 15th from 3-5pm. We are so looking forward to getting Grant boys out on the lanes. If you already registered for this event and can make the new date! Great! If you can't make it, you can contact to either get a refund or donate your money to PTA, if you didn't register but can make the new date - there are some extra forms in the office!
