Come and learn about climate change
What is climate change?
Climate change is a long term change in weather patterns.Climate change can occur from biotic processes, variations in solar radiation, plate tectonics, volcanic eruptions, and pollution, are identified as climate change also known as global warming. Climate change can occur to a specific region or across the whole earth. Global warming has began since 1900.
History of climate change
The history of climate change started in the 19th century. In the 19th century there were ice ages ,volcanism, and solar variation. Around the 1960s there was a warming effect of carbon dioxide. During the 1970s scientist were studying more on the warming viewpoint. In the 1990s scientist started to confirm green house gases were involved in climate change. By the end of 1990 scientist believe that climate change has to do with human influence.
how does the canadian goverment deal with climate change?
The government of Canada will give support and go with the provinces and territories to take action. Together they will meet up in Paris to discuss global warming.
Air pollution and greenhouse gases
Air pollution and greenhouse gases work together.Carbon dioxide is a common part of exhaust from cars and trucks. Greenhouse gases cause global warming by keeping heat from the sun in earths atmosphere.
What is the number one cause of climate change?
The number one cause of climate change is carbon dioxide. In the last 30 years burning fossil fuels has been identified as the main reason of climate change more than 80% of the world wide energy demand is correctly supplied by the fossil fuels coal, oil or gas .
