Key Thoughts for Developing Your Perspectives Prior to Walking Into the Classroom
*Assess how the teacher intertwines curriculum with technology tools (guiding students in their use of technology), not the teacher's use or knowledge of the tools.
2. Set up communication channels that allow teachers to share with you how they're using technology in their class...don't rely on your limited visits.
3. Allow for differentiation among teachers...no cookie cutter expectations.
4. Challenge your current technology users to dig deeper and climb higher in their skill levels.
5. Constantly re-evaluate your expectation of technology integration as it is constantly changing. What do I need to let go of? What tools are more effective?
