It’s that time again! School registration is here!!



Things to know about registration:

  • A parent or legal guardian is required.
  • Student pictures will be taken for activity cards.
  • Please expect to pay for class fees and all sport fees.

  • New students to our district please bring the documents listed below on Aug. 10th.

    • Evidence of age (certified birth certificate, NOT hospital issued)
    • Immunization records
    • Legal custody agreement (if applicable)

Welcome to Back to School

Dear Salmon River Joint School District Community,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2022-23 school year and officially introduce myself to the community. For those of you who do not know me, I have worked in this district for over 20 years. My husband and I have raised three wonderful daughters in this canyon. They are all graduates of Salmon River and give credit to our schools for their success.

As your new Superintendent, I REFLECT on the past and what it will take for us to continue the progress we have made. I continue to EMBRACE the present values and points of view we bring to build a strong community and to prepare our students. I have listened carefully to the feedback from educators, parents/guardians and community members and hope to BUILD on the future of Salmon River and the gains we have made as a school district. I encourage all of you to feel free to contact me. Open communication is an important aspect to our success.

We aim to strengthen academic achievement for our students and develop long-term fiscal plans that support our schools. Most importantly, we continue to do what is in the best interest of all students; providing the foundation that each student needs in order to realize their full potential and achieve the dreams they have for themselves and for their future.

I am honored, humbled, and excited to work with you all and our incredible team of educators, staff, administrators, parents and community members as we work together to reflect on the past, embrace the present and build on the future to continuously improve Salmon River Joint School District. Online Free and Reduced Meal Application

Get a head start on registering by filling out the online free and reduced application. The application opens August 10, 2022. All parents and guardians will be asked to fill out an application even if you do not think you qualify. The qualifications have changed and the State uses the information for the district to qualify for other programs.
