Live Love Learn
I would also like to take a minute to say thank you for supporting us and for being such a huge part of what makes Lakeside the wonderful campus and community that it is!
Clarity Survey (from CISD)
Last week you were informed about our partnership with BrightBytes, an educational research organization. Coppell ISD is asking for your input (through a Technology & Learning questionnaire) to learn more about our students’school and home technology use for learning. Your participation is essential in helping us form a more complete picture of technology use for learning in our students’ lives. Please know that all of your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy. This is a national survey that allows us to compare data sets at the regional, state and national levels. Surveys will be conducted each year in the fall and spring.
The questionnaire will close Friday, November 17. This survey will take you approximately 5 minutes to complete. If you haven’t already done so, please follow this link to our specific campus questionnaire: www.BByt.es/R777P
(Note: if you also have children at other campuses, that means you will need to complete multiple surveys. You will receive an email from those principals with their campus specific questionnaire link.)
Thank you for your time
News you can use...
Family Feast Drive Nov. 13-Nov. 17
For 14 years, CISD has collected food for families in need around Thanksgiving. Lakeside's 3rd Graders are excited to help collect donations for needy families this holiday season. Mark your calendars to send in donations of canned foods or non-perishable foods from Monday, November 13th-Friday, November 17th, for the CISD Family Feast Drive! You also may make an online donation HERE.
Last year, CISD collected 12,397 pounds of food and $13,708 for a total of 51,454 nutritious meals for those in need in North Texas. Lakeside hopes to contribute to another successful year of giving to our North Texas neighbors!
Lakeside P.E.
Mrs. Bladl would love to see how our Lakeside Community and Family Members are staying healthy this holiday season. Please Tweet a pic to @LakesidePE of your family or your Longhorn making healthy choices this Thanksgiving break. Pictures will be displayed on the Healthy Holiday bulletin board in the gym!
From Mrs. Bryant

PTO
In case you missed it or if you want quick access to it.
Here is the PTO Newsletter Link.
Please note: the 2nd grade PTO program will take place on Thursday, December 7th. The prior calendar had the date listed as December 4th. For future reference all of our PTO programs will take place on Thursdays.
Book Fair Dates, Times and Events:
Remaining Dates...
Thur, Nov 16: 7:00am - 3:30pm (donuts and coffee morning!)
Fri, Nov 17: 7:30am - noon
Special Events: Special extended hours with Donuts & Coffee at 7:00am on Thursday, Nov 16th.
A really fun idea is for parents to come to school, have lunch with their learner, and then shop at the book fair.
We need volunteers to help our book fair run smoothly.

The book fair is a great way to get books into our learners' hands and support the school. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Thank you so much!
