West Point El. Parent Update
Week of October 24, 2022
Dear West Point Families,
We hope you are enjoying the beautiful fall colors and the cooler weather. Here are five important things to know for the coming week:
- The PTA has a busy week! They are sponsoring the Book Fair, Ribbons Week, and Breakfast with a Grand. Please see information below for details. Thank you to all of our PTA volunteers for providing these opportunities for our students.
- This Monday is the last day to pay for Breakfast with a Grand.
- Tuesday is School Picture Retake Day for those who are interested.
- The Student Council is sponsoring their Socktober Service Project this week. All donations are being collected in boxes in the gym.
- We have had some clarification on our Halloween costume guidelines. Makeup is allowed. The only stipulation is that we cannot use makeup (or anything else) to alter skin color to resemble another race.
Every day is a great day to be a Wildcat!
Sincerely,
Marjorie Conrad and Michelle Yoho
Principal and Assistant Principal, West Point Elementary
