A Message from Mr. DiFilippo
Dyer Families,
Thank you for your continued commitment to our Digital Learning. I am really proud of the hard work of our teachers and students!
I hope you have been able to keep up with the latest news from the county through the GCPS Digital Learning Updates. The latest issue discussed items such as Flex Fridays, Grading, and Summer School. The best way to stay in the loop is to visit Dyer’s and GCPS webpage and Facebook page.
With your help and through the hard work of our teachers, Digital Learning has been going great! I continue to be amazed at what is going on. I have received a lot of positive feedback and praise from our families in regard to the depths our teachers will go to assure our students are being successful. It is always nice to hear praise for our teachers. I thank you and appreciate your efforts too, as this would not be successful without you.
As we enter the sixth week of Digital Learning I ask that we remain diligent in an effort to finish out the rest of the year strong. It is important that our participation rate remains high. Our staff continues to introduce new material to ensure we have covered each grade-level standard. This will have a significant impact on each student’s preparedness for next school year. Please keep up the good work ensuring your child engages in their assignments. I understand this has not been easy on our students and families, but remaining diligent will pay off next year.
Thank you,
Mr. DiFilippo

New this year, much of the registration process, including the uploading of documents needed for registration, will be completed online. Most document attachments (PDF, JPG, DOC, PNG, etc.) are compatible. The file size limit is 2 MB. Families who are unable to obtain the required immunization and/or screening documents due to the COVID-19 situation will be given additional time to obtain those documents but should go ahead and begin the online registration process. The documents families will need for registration can be found here.
