Paco de Lucia

Paco de Lucia is a master Flamenco guitarist. He was born on December 21, 1947 in Algeciras, Spain. He is most famous for the rumba because of his intricate fingering. His rumba was called "Entre Dos Aguas." Paco de Lucia used old Flamenco techniques like hard edge strumming, suspenseful phrasing, and a sense of dynamics and drama. In the 60's and 70's he was the leading guitarist in the world. Paco de Lucia's hard work payed off, and he won a Latin Grammy award for the best Flamenco recording in 2012. Sadly, he died from a heart attack at age 66. Paco de Lucia will always be remembered for his fantastic Flamenco guitar playing.

Salvador Dali

Salvador Dali was born on May 11, 1904 in Spain. He was a famous artist and is remembered for his talent. His painting are what people remember about him, because they were so amazing. Salvador Dali was the only male survivor in his family. In 1937, Salvador Dali visited Italy and adapted more of a traditional style to his artwork. He moved to the United States in 1940 and stayed here until 1955. Besides painting, Salvador Dali worked on theater, book illustration, jewelry design, and sculpture. He died January 23, 1989 in his hometown.

Cristiano Ronaldo was born in Portugal on February 5, 1985. He is known for his soccer playing, and has excelled in this sport. The soccer team Manchester payed twelve million pounds for him to be on their soccer team. He played on Manchester at the Fifa World Cup in 2004 and scored his team their first three goals of the game. Then in 2009, the team Madrid payed eighty million pounds to have Cristiano on their team. As of now, he is 29 years old and still plays for Madrid.
