Cold shoulders
Open, off-the-shoulder necklines have had their moment, but this season, designers took the look a step further with cutouts meant to highlight just the shoulder, making knits more breathable, breezy dresses even breezier, and everything just a little sexier.
Stripes
The classic pattern is emboldened for Spring on suiting, sets, and notice-me dresses. And to that point, there's an iteration for every occasion.
get Tied up
It's never been easier to show off your middle and sculpt an hourglass shape. Designers are out to make the waist the focal point of every outfit with everything from ties over jackets to sashes and belts.
White shirt redux
Once borrowed from the boys, these white button-downs are all ours now. Buttoned up, ruffled, and slashed, this staple got a high-fashion twist that will make the old favorite a cool-girl Spring essential.
ruffles
Girlie but grown up was everywhere on the runways, as designers added a smattering of ruffles to give looks a flirtatious vibe. Other times, the effect was downright sculptural, giving dimension to tops and sheath dresses with a more contemporary appeal.
