Redwood Heights Back to School Night: Team Work is Dream Work
Thank you for attending our RHS Back-To-School Night last Thursday, 8/22 @ 6-7:30 pm. Our teachers presentations were impressive and informative and highlighted their collaborative professional relationships. We hope that you walked away with helpful information and an understanding of the academic expectations that your child will experience this school year.
We are currently working on uploading all of the grade level, back-to-school night presentations to our website.

RHS Tech Desk
Among the many roles I play as our TSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) including, primarily, an intervention teacher, I am also our tech support person. I have recently added a few new pages to our website that I hope you find helpful. From our homepage at www.ousd.org/redwoodheights, hover over Resources and Forms at the top in the red bar. If you click on Online Programs, for example, you'll see a "How to Login" page, as well as links (below the yellow "Online Programs" bar) to information about the two main online programs students use: ST Math and Lexia. There is brief summary of each program as well as our progress goals for the students--what they should be completing by when.
We are currently working on uploading documents from BTSN for each classroom.
If there is something you'd like to see on our website that would be helpful to you as a parent, please let me know! You can always reach me at rebecca.weissman@ousd.org, or call the school at 510-531-6644 and ask for me.
Thanks! I look forward to working with you and your children this year.
Mobile Dairy Classroom
Mobile Dairy Classroom hosted two assemblies at Redwood Heights with Buttercup the cow and Olaf the calf. Our students and teachers enjoyed the assembly and have a deeper appreciation for California’s dairy farmers. The presentation shared information about nutrition and agriculture.
