Mrs. Lutz's 1st Grade
BOTH first grades learned "the scoop" about each other as a get-to-know-you activity. Then, as a science connection, they learned how to make ice cream, as well as a little bit of history about ice cream in the early days. Finally, the classes had an ice cream party to celebrate the beginning of a new school year!

Students worked together to "Save Fred", a worm whose boat capsized! They used teamwork to save him and get him a life preserver!
