Write the script and act the role - on camera!

Be a screenwriter - Step in front of and behind the camera

Students will be able to let their creativity and imagination soar as they create their own collaborative Web Series! Working alongside writing mentor Cassidy Hall and cinematographer David McClellan, students will construct original scripts for every episode and will also have the chance to portray their characters in front of the camera! This opportunity will provide students with the exciting experience of expressing themselves and their characters, all while taking a creative project from start to finish.

During the summer trimester, students will write, perform, and produce the Season 1 finale, as well as developing an outline for Season 2 of Shush. Previous episodes will be screened at the StoryArk Festival on August 1 at The Phipps Center for the Arts, and all episodes will be uploaded onto the Shush! Youtube Channel. (Tuition is $275 for new members, $175 for current members. Scholarships are available!)

Professional Artists Mentor Students

We empower student voices and equip young artists to succeed

StoryArk provides a variety of creative programming for youth, allowing them to tell their story through their chosen medium - whether that be a novel, poetry, film, song, podcast or anything else they can dream up. Student initiated and student led, each project is imagined, designed, and developed by youth. Professional authors, screenwriters, filmmakers, musicians, producers, directors and actors share their expertise and experience, helping students gain new skills in their craft and empowering them to become their best creative selves.

StoryArk is a 501c(3) tax exempt organization that seeks to serve the greater good.
