Chocolate Milk Day!

Chocolate Milk was invented by Hans Sloane. This wonderful piece of magic made my brown spotted cows, this drink has twice as much sugar than plain low fat milk, but chocolate milk gives you loads of carbs and protein that you NEED to get energy for the day. Also, for all those athletes, chocolate milk is a good recovery drink for after workouts. (Wikipedia)

Having a wide market for chocolate milk is great, but you need to choose which one fits you the best. There are many different forms of chocolate milk such as Pre-made, Recovery/Sport, Powder, Syrup, etc. Different people prefer different types of the product, but you can't go wrong with at least one of these various options.

Three Different Types of Chocolate Milk!

Bottling Chocolate Milk at Baily's Dairy at Pocopson Meadow Farm

Bottling of Pre-made Chocolate Milk in Factory (above)

In the video above, you can see a small part of how the Pocopson Meadow Farm bottles their milk. The jugs are being put through a long line of production eventually to be spit out on the end of its long journey through the factory. Production factories like this one can be found all across the globe. They all have different methods to make their chocolate milk even though they release similar products.

Step by Step Recipe for Syrup-made Chocolate Milk

  1. Get out Milk of your choosing and Hershey Chocolate Syrup
  2. Pour milk into glass, keeping in mind how much you want
  3. Take Syrup and squeeze into glass making sure you base the amount on how much milk is in the glass. The more Syrup in less milk, the higher the chocolate concentration. Less syrup in more milk, the lesser the concentration.
  4. Stir
  5. Enjoy!
