For the week of April 24th...
Preparing to Pack!
1. You will be paid for two days to pack in June and two days to unpack in August for our Maybrook move. The 2 days will automatically be added to your June and August check. The goal is to be packed up with all appropriate labels for our July move.
2. 25 boxes have been pre-ordered for each classroom both large and small. Please use small boxes only for books to keep the weight down. Packing tape will also be provided. Additional boxes must be requested from Dixie. Email Dixie the number of boxes needed (medium or small) and additional boxes will be delivered to you.
Boxes, labels, and tape will be delivered to classrooms beginning April 10.
3. Plan to pack anything you will need next year. Technology, including computers, printers, walkie-talkies, and phones should be packed in boxes but you are welcome to transport computers yourselves. Printers should go in a large box and you should put in a helpdesk request to have tech set it up for you.
4. All boxes must have appropriate labels we provide. Labels will be provided to each teacher by April 14th. A general label is be used for all boxes, and an additional "Tech" label added to boxes that contain phones, computers, etc.
5. Large furniture can be moved and needs to be labeled including View Sonics, file cabinets, etc. Please email these requests to Dixie because this requires a work order for transport.
Requests must be emailed to Dixie by June 7 for a work order to be created.
