I would love to study psychology and be a group counselor or a clinical psychologist. Psychology and mental disorders have appealed to me since a very young age. By taking a psychology class this year, I am looking into my top choice of career.Studying forensics and psychology will help me become a forensic psychologist. I will be working with serial killers and determining if they are mentally stable to stand trial in front of a jury. By becoming a forensic psychologist, I will be helping my community by keeping the criminals off of the streets.Although I don't have patience for small children, I could probably still work as a teacher or professor at a university. I could be teaching psychology or sociology.

Education Required for Clinical Psychology
I will have to complete 4 years of undergraduate school, and then go to graduate school and attain a doctorates degree in psychology. The University of Texas at Austin seems like a great place to go to graduate school, while The University of Texas at San Antonio seems like a great place to do my basics.
I will try to get a job as a secretary or an office setting at a psychology department.
An estimated $37,640 will be the cost of tuition and supplies at UTSA for 4 years Financial Aid and scholarships are not included.
Clinical Psychologist
I would have appointments with either patients that have severe mental problems like schizophrenia, or working group sessions with families in which someone is suffering from alcoholism. I will not be able to prescribe medication. I will also help people plan interventions. I will be making around $70,000 a year. This is enough to live off of. I will hope to have my own practice one day.
