A wildlife veterinarian is a person who takes care and helps out wildlife animals.
Responsibilities and education/training
A wildlife veterinarian daily task and responsibility is to make sure that the animals are okay, need machine or surgery. The education/training that is need to become a wildlife veterinarian is D.V.M ( Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a program that takes 4 years to complete).
Job skills, job outlook and salary.
Some jobs skills that you have to become a wildlife veterinarian are compassion, decision- making skills, interpersonal skills, Management skills, Manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills. The job outlook is that the employment of veterinarians has projected to grow 12 percent from 2012 to 2022. The average salary for a wildlife veterinarian is 84,460 per year.
Work environment and career connections.
You would work in private clinics, hospitals, travel to farms, work in laboratories, classrooms, or work for the government. Some hazards are being bitten, kicked and scratched.
