Panther Updates
News, Resources and Learning for Panther Staff, 6/26/17
THANK YOU ALL FOR A JOB WELL DONE.
Good afternoon staff. On behalf of Lara , Kayla, Catherine, Kaye, Joyce and Becky we want to thank you for a great year and your outstanding effort with our students. We’ve accomplished a lot due to your hard work and dedication. It is our sincere hope that you are as proud of yourself as we are of you. Enjoy your students and your colleagues this last week of the 2016-17 school year and enjoy the long weekend before we start the 2017-18 school year.
YOU are the reason our students are a success!!!

News of Note
We will again order staff T-Shirts for the 17-18 school. A BIG THANK YOU TO PTA for funding this. Please see Kaye Person by 10:00 on Monday morning to give her your preferred T-shirt size. We need this information to order and hopefully receive the shirts in time for our annual picture. These will be regular unisex cut T-shirts.
TA Luncheon: We will have a TA luncheon on Tuesday, 6/27 from 1:30-2:30 to close out the year and to say good-bye to TAs that are leaving us this year. Our wonderful TAs will be "off duty" during that time. Thanks for your support!
Supervision: Please check on your classes during lunch for the last week of school and ask the teacher assistants of behaviors so that you can help regulate discipline. If you change your seating chart, make sure you change it in the book in the cafeteria.
Green Sheets and Emergency Bags: Make sure that you turn in your green sheet to Kaye ASAP. Also, remember to turn in your Emergency Bags to the conference room on the afternoon of the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Volunteer Experiences: If you have a learning experience, please make sure you have a sign for the office that states the Teacher name, the Activity, the Location, and the Time. When there are more than one (we had 10 Friday!!) it helps parents know what to do and where to go.
Classroom Furniture: All classrooms should have an appropriate number of desks/tables/chairs that are County issued. The number and items depends on the number of students. If you are considering having flexible seating, keep in mind that you should consider how you will use those items in conjunction with what you have and where you will put everything in the space that you have available. In addition, consider the safety of the flexible seating and your liability- especially if it something you are making (a ball in a crate, for instance.) In addition, if you have foam-filled or furniture with any type of "stuffing" or fabric that is not County issued, it is most likely against fire code. We will give more information to staff the during our first week of workdays for the 2017-2018 school year.
We are finalizing the time and location for our annual staff picture. Until then, here is the tentative schedule for the week of July 3.
