Wynne Nafus Sayer, Information Officer/Webmaster

One of my favorite books to read to my kids was recommended by a dear friend, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff. I loved the whimsical chaos with the mouse and the boy, that draws the reader back to the beginning. We did follow up with If You Take a Mouse to the Movies.

Barb Nickolas, Government Publications/Library Associate

My favorite picture book is Barnyard Dance! by Sandra Boynton. On the moove! Barnyard animals dance two by two in a round, square dance. I love these lively animated faces in this cute little board book.

Marcia Kaup, Braille and Talking Books Library Reader Advisor

My favorite picture book is The Monster at the End of this Book: Starring Loveable, Furry Old Grover by Jon Stone and illustrated by Michael Smollin. This was a favorite picture book to read to my 5 kids. I think we wore out over 25 copies and they all memorized the book and would “read” it to me!
