Parent-led Grad Night Party
Tickets are now on sale for the Class of 2023's Parent led - Grad Night Celebration! More information can be found on the SHS 2023 Grad Night Party. Discounted tickets for $185 are available through March 31 and will go up to $225 on April 1st. Purchase your ticket online and print your waivers here or with the QR Code. Class Elections are now open for the 2023-24 School year Class Officers and Senators
Applications can be found in the Main Office, ASB Office and the ASB Canvas page.
What: (4) Officers and (9) Senators for each grade level
When: Applications due March 31
Where: ASB Office or Mr. Ivelia
Why: New Officers will take over for the next school year of 2023-24.
Who: Junior, Sophomore and Freshmen Candidate Qualifications
Four of our SkillsUSA students went to Boeing to compete against almost 10- students in the State Aerospace Assembler Competition.
Students were tasked to complete a technical skilled Assembly project as well as complete a resume and go through an Interview process.
Congratulations to SHS Senior, Madison Guy, took home 2nd place, a Silver Medal, some Snap-On tools, and an Oculus VR system.

Open Gym
There will be open gyms in the main gym every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights from 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning on April, 10, 2023.

Students, when you attend a college fair, virtual or in person, you have a chance to learn about and connect with lots of colleges in a short amount of time. The two college fairs coming up are listed below. Remember that when you talk with a college admissions counselor, you are not committing to the school, you are just gathering information.

Seattle Children’s Research Institute Opportunity
Seattle Children’s Research Institute is offering two programs led by PhD-level scientists and educators to current 10th-12th grade students in our district who will not have applied to college by summer 2023. Both programs are free of cost and provide an experience for those students looking to explore a future career in biomedical research.
- Research Training Program
Students will learn about topics such as biochemistry, immunotherapy, gene editing, and infectious disease, and perform authentic laboratory experiments at Seattle Children’s Research Institute in downtown Seattle. The Research Training Program will be held July 10 to July 28. This program is for students from backgrounds that are historically underrepresented in the biomedical and health sciences.
- Virtual Training Program
Students will learn about topics such as biochemistry, immunotherapy, gene editing, and infectious disease, and view live lab demonstrations. Participate over Zoom from August 7 to August 11.

Seattle Children’s Nurse Camp 2023
The Seattle Children's Nurse Camp 2023 is now open. You can visit the webpage for more information including how to apply and to view our application guide which will walk students through the application before they submit it. There is also a direct link to the application.
This year’s camp will be held from July 17-21, 2023.
