Fall Festival

Thank you for making the fall festival one of the best ever! From your amazing costumes to the fun games, the night was so much fun for our school family. Going above and beyond is what makes our school a great place to work each day!

United Way

If you would like to give to the United Way, please see Reggie by Oct. 26th. Thank you!

Soup Night

Soup night is one of my favorite events! It wil be here soon so please sign up for this event. We need lots of soup and lots of servers. Our Soup night will be November 6th from 6:00-7:30.

Math Assessments

Sandra Goff will be meeting with you all during planning next Friday, Oct. 27th. Please share with me or place a copy of your last math test on my desk by tomorrow afternoon. We will be looking at test questions during her visit. Don't forget to take care of this before leaving tomorrow.

Story Day

In an effort to continue to promote a reading culture, we are going to implement story days on days that holidays or days before holidays. Our first story day will be Oct. 31st. This will be a time for Mr. White and I to read to students. The schedule for the 31st is as follows:

8:15: 5th

8:45: 1st

9:15: 2nd

9:45: 3rd

1:00: 4th

1:30: K5

Please bring your classes to the cafeteria at your scheduled time.

Chromebook Training

Sarah will be here Monday to train teachers in grades 3, 4, and 5 to use the Chromebooks. She will be in the conference room.

Title One Conference

I will be attending the Title One Conference next week. I will be here Monday and Tuesday, but will be out the rest of the week. I hope to get lots of great ideas!

2nd Grade Testing

Second grade testing will begin next Wednesday. Please be aware of this as they will be testing in the morning and small groups will be testing in the second computer lab and math lab.

Faculty Meeting

We will have a faculty meeting Nov. 7th. This meeting will be for everyone with the exception of teachers assistants. Please bring your latest reading assessment to this meeting, your MAP scores, and one of your student's portfolios.

Oct. 26th: 4K meeting and Lundeen's class to bookstore

House Elections

House elections are tomorrow. Please make sure you have shown your classes all of the videos. Students will vote in the gym immediately following their lunch. We can't wait to announce our winners!
