Pairwise Comparison, Borda Method, & Condorcet Criterion

Pairwise Comparison is comparing candidates to one another, then assigning a point.

Example:

15 votes: Chevy > Dodge > Ford

10 votes: Dodge > Ford > Chevy

3 votes: Ford > Chevy > Dodge

If we compare Chevy to Dodge, in the first line, Chevy wins over dodge and gets 15 votes. In the the next line, Dodge wins and gets 10 votes. In the bottom line, Chevy wins and gets 3 votes. Chevy gets one point.

Dodge compared to Ford

1st line: Dodge beats Ford and gets 15 votes

2nd line: Dodge beats Ford and gets 10 votes

3rd line: Ford beats Dodge and gets 3 votes

Dodge wins and gets 1 point.

Chevy compared to Ford

1st line: Chevy beats Ford and gets 15 votes

2nd line: Ford beats Chevy and gets 10 votes

3rd line: Ford beats Chevy and gets 3 votes

Chevy wins and gets a second point. Chevy wins overall.
