Thanks to Micaela Liles for organizing an awesome Track Trot event last week!
Thank you Green Team for putting together a successful Walk and Bike to school day!
Track Trot Update: Congrats to all our little (and big) runners. We ran approximately 3,300 laps that’s a total of about total of 825 miles run on last Thursday. How amazing! Also, one of our WTV Dads was out running with the kids all day and he ran a total of 120 laps or 30 miles. Way to go everyone!
Donations: Our donation link is up and running on the wtvptc.org home page. All you have to do is click the “Track Trot Donations” button and a payment window will pop-up. If you donate on line you will receive an immediate receipt for tax purposes. You can always share the PTC website on your personal social media pages to have a wider reach. If you plan on using employer matching and need additional information please email Micaela Liles at mm_lowder@hotmail.com .
Donations can also be turned in to the office, as in years past, make checks payable to “West TV PTC”. Thank you to everyone for supporting West TV through our Track Trot Fundraiser. We are going to do some great things for our kids this year!
Message from Green Team: Congratulations West TV students on your participation in Walk and Bike to School Day! Of the 381 students - 220 of you walked to school and 2 of you rolled to school...woo hoo!!!! There were also 105 students who took the bus (a form of carpooling) and 12 students who carpooled. Great job all and thank you parents for your support! Now that you know how to do it....we hope you will walk or bike to school whenever possible. Maybe choose one or two days a week if you cannot everyday? It is good for your health and our
environment!
Book Fair: We have an urgent need for volunteers Monday – Thursday this week! There are 5 shifts open for Wish List Helper (working with students to pick out and write their list of books) and 13 shifts open for Cashier (Instructions will be provided. You will check out students, and helping restock shelves).
We will be open during lunch and after school from 3:05pm - 3:55pm to purchase books. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to shop after school. During conferences we are open Wednesday the 11th from 3:30pm - 8:00pm and Thursday the 12th from 8:00am - 8:00pm.
Staff Appreciation: Donations needed.
