Announcements
- The last day to preorder your yearbook is January 26th. Visit jostensyearbooks.com to purchase yours.
- Anyone interested in taking Journalism 2nd Semester can pick up an application outside room 111.
- Students who have completed the classroom portion of Drivers’ Ed and need to do their driving, please sign up in the front office as soon as possible.
- The Agriculture Department will be offering a free Hunter Safety Course Monday January 29-Thursday February 1, 2017 from 2:30-5:30pm each day in the shop at RHS. This course is open to anyone, those interested need to sign up by Friday January 26 with Dr. Jones or Mrs. Ford.
- Welcome Mr. John Taylor to RHS! He is a senior at NCSU and is interning with Mrs. Ford & Dr. Jones in the Agriculture Department this semester.
- The Agriculture Department barn has been delivered!! Next step is preparing the land and constructing the building! Hoping to have it ready for animals by the end of the school year!
- All County Orchestra auditions have been rescheduled on Tuesday, January 16. Students trying out please check with Mrs. Nosow for your audition times.
Guidance News
- A representative from Fayetteville State University will be here on Tuesday, February 6th during PowerHour to meet with those interested in FSU.
- Any student interested in the Naval Nuclear Power or Special Warfare program please see Mr. Fields in Guidance for more information.
- The Shelton Challenge is a six day summer experience for rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school. Shelton's five cornerstones of values-based leadership-honesty, integrity, compassion, diversity and social responsibility are the foundation of camp. This camp is held at NCSU. Please go by guidance for more information!
- The representative from Coastal Carolina will not be back on campus again until January 31st, 2018. Please sign up in guidance if you wish to meet with the representative.
Teacher of the Month
Each month, STUDENTS ONLY will vote for the teacher of the month. They will input their name, the teacher's name, and why they should be voted teacher of the month. The teacher with the most votes wins.

Graduation Project Presentations
Richlands High School is looking for judges for Graduation Project Presentations. Due to the computer issues the dates of the presentations had to be pushed back. The dates are February 6th and February 8th. Judges will need to check in at 5:00 pm in the cafeteria. Presentations will begin at 6:00 pm. If you are interested in judging please use the following link to sign up.
