This book is a classic and always has me coming back for more. I have read this book countless times and always find new aspects to enjoy about it. The book has it all, adultery, injustice, patience, judgement and past times. The words of Mr. Nick Carraway grabbed me from the start with his caring ways of everything. Will Mr. Gatsby ever stop the parties? What happens to Tom and Daisy? And the drive back from New York will stun you immediately. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time.
Who was he waiting for? He was as patient as he could be talking about Mr. Gatsby.
A great life lesson about judgement expressed by Nick in this book where judgement is everywhere.
Can one repeat the past? This book is all about pasts of everyone from Tom to Jay.
This picture ties into the theme of patience as Jay is waiting for someone.
This picture refers to all the parties Mr. Gatsby threw almost every weekend.
This picture ties into the theme of adultery. Tom's mistress is the woman above.
Mr. Jay Gatsby is an "Oxford Man". He is unknowingly rich and seems to be always unhappy until he is reunited with Daisy.
Nick Carraway is a man who is in a way thrown into the fire. He moved right next door to Gatsby and is now in the midst of Mr. Gatsby's past with Daisy, Nick's cousin.
Daisy Buchanan is in the middle of adultery and is in a constant battle with her heart whether to go with Gatsby who she loves to death or Tom who is also in the midst of adultery and a brute.
