New at the Levi Leonard and TRIS LMCs are Wonderbooks. These are hard-copy books with an audiobook attached directly to the book. They can be listened to out loud or by plugging in headphones/ear buds to the Wonderbook. We hope students enjoy these new additions to the library collections!

Overdues
One of the goals of the LMC is to teach students how to be responsible library users for life. This means they have no overdue materials. To help students and families with this goal, we encourage students to check their Destiny Discover library accounts regularly and monitor due dates. Destiny Discover is accessible on each school LMC webpage. To log in, students use their school username and password.
What happens when something is overdue?
- Destiny Discover sends out automatic email notices for overdue materials.
- At Levi Leonard and TRIS, overdue notices are sent out weekly to families.
- At the Middle School and High School, students receive these email notices every week.
- 6-12 families also receive email notifications of overdue items once per week. Please note, due to State Statute, book titles will not be shared for grades 9-12.
- Overdue items can be renewed twice, as long as no one else has the item on hold, online in Destiny Discover or by contacting the LMC staff.
What happens if a student doesn't return an overdue item?
- Email notices will be sent for up to 60 days (max of 8 weekly notices).
- Per district procedures, after 60 days of being overdue, the system charges for the replacement of the item if it is a library book, textbook or content area book.
- After 30 days of being overdue, the system charges for the replacement of the item if it is technology equipment, i.e. Chromebooks, chargers, headphones, etc...
- The fee will appear in Skyward Family Access > Fee Management.
What to do if you have been charged for an overdue item?
- Return the item to the LMC so the replacement fee can be removed.
- Pay the fee in Skyward so a replacement item can be purchased.
- Please note: Fees follow students year to year, up to graduation.
How can students and families avoid being charged for overdue materials?
- Return materials before the due date.
- Renew materials when they are overdue so the due date is extended.
- Monitor Destiny Discover accounts to know when items are due.
