Two by Ten
Here is my challenge to you this week:
Pick ONE student in your classroom that you would like to work on building a stronger relationship. Spend just Two minutes a day for TEN days getting to know them. During those 2 minutes, talk about anything THEY want. The goal is to connect with them and build trust. This will help you better understand their needs. Thank you for investing your time, lending an ear, and opening their heart and yours too! We will reflect on this after our 10 days.
No significant learning can occur without a significant relationship. Dr. James Comer
Construction updates
Here is some updated information:
1. Boxes are in! Please connect with Barry or Brent if you need them. We have 2 sizes. There are also stickers. You would put your last name AND room number on the boxes.
2. For the big cabinets like Kaitlyn has: if the cabinet is not built in they will just move it away for them to do the demo work and then put it back. I would empty that cabinet into boxes.
3. They will give me a list of what they will have to demo and discard. There were very few that would not go back in.
4. The units pull in fresh air from the outside. That is why they remove the windows where they are and there are no vents. You can see what they look like from the outside if you drive by Clark and/or Sunnyside.
5. We will be starting to work on emptying out the work room. We are going to take the items that we know we will not use for now (ie. certain paper, clothes, shoes, etc) and start boxing them up and labeling.
Stay tuned.......

Tier 1- We would like to have our next whole school reward on March 17th. Ideally we should have a whole school celebration at LEAST every quarter. We are a little off on that goal. Please remember to let Mr. B know when you hit 100 so he can move the Roadrunner.
Tier 3- Our team went to the second day of training and we have homework! On March 10th we will have 3 "Lunch and Learn" sessions available. Below are the times and the teachers for each session. The sessions are NOT required but it would be a huge help to our team in getting our homework completed as we have assignments to turn in.
